Desiree is studying journalism at Northwestern University. She has written for the Daily Northwestern, North by Northwestern, Medill News Service, Midstory and the Equalizer. Her reporting has also been published in the Washington Post and UPI.

In her free time, Desiree loves cafe-hopping, updating her Letterboxd and cheering on Bay Area sports teams.
