Sophia Bateman is a freshman in the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Born in London and raised across Asia, England and the U.S., she credits her multicultural upbringing with sparking her curiosity for diverse cuisines, with Brazilian and Italian food at the top of her list.
