Avé Josefowski is a writer at the Spoon University National Writers Program. She works with their editorial team to keep up with Gen Z’s latest food-related trends through pitching, editing, and developing digital news content. Additionally, Avé aims to conduct exclusive interviews with members of the food industry and influential content creators to generate exciting feature pieces.
Beyond the writers program, Avé attends Villanova University as an upcoming senior English major with a minor in Gender and Women’s Studies. She dedicates her time to expanding her writing skills, focusing primarily on important historical and contemporary gender-based issues, where she has conducted extensive research on the ways that Women and members of the LGBTQIA+ community are represented in literature, film, and social media spaces. She is passionate about learning the ways that digital media shapes younger generations as society continues to expand and transform technologically.
In her free time, Avé enjoys reading, thrifting, playing guitar, collecting anything yellow, and trying new restaurants. For Avé, relaxing looks like watching her favorite TV shows and spending time with her friends and family at the Jersey Shore each summer. She is passionate about storytelling, culture, seeing new places, and trying new activities with her friends.
